Scientific Picnic 2010

Once again I decided to attend Scientific Picnic (this time on the 12th of June) – and once again I wasn’t disappointed:) The whole event is aimed at popularization of science (especially among the children…), but even I can find some interesting stuff – 3D TV, 3D scanner, glove based input system, jet engines, robots and radioactive materials;)
There was also an exposition devoted to LHC (if you don’t know what it is, shame on you!), some stands promoting nuclear energy (good job, but unfortunately at a rather desolate spot…) and the usual stand of Student Space Engineering Scientific Group with the usual PW-Sat satellite model…
Please enjoy (a bit random) choice of photos!
