Battodo demonstration (Japanese Days 2010)

Here you can find some photos from demonstration held by Battodo Kenjutsu Iaido Warszawa at Bielański Ośrodek Kultury on the 28th of February 2010. The demonstration was followed by a short lecture about japanese swords. The demonstration itself seemed to… kind of lack spirit in comparison to a Kendo sparring, but anything more could result in some serious injury (unlike Kendo, Battodo practicioners are usually not armoured…). Still, the lecture was quite interesting, captivating and entertaining – with the exception of some nasty jabs directed at Kendo… Still, please enjoy the photos!
