Greece 2008/2009

Usually I don’t spend the New Year’s Eve in any kind of a fancy way. Well, UT GOTYE can be very absorbing… This year however my parents wanted something special any decided to go a little further. I don’t really care about the occasion, but as the trip was to Greece, I couldn’t resist. It was a crash course in Athens (Acropolis, Temple of Zeus, The Baths, Hadrian’s Library, …) and some nearby attractions (Oracle of Delphi – sounds geeky, doesn’t it;) ; Korinthos Canal… )

As I have written recently, Greece is a country of ruins – both the ancient and modern ones. Some pictures of the latter are in “The Wrong Side Of Greece”. Here I put (mainly) pictures of the remains of what had once been a glorious civilization.

Enjoy!
